Run by my side;
live in my heartbeat;
give strength to my steps
As the cold surrounds me,
as the wind pushes me,
I know you surround me.
As the sun warms me,
as the rain cleanses me,
I know you are touching me,
challenging me, loving me.
And so I give you this run.
Thank you for matching my stride.
Amen
I will post each dedication separately tomorrow after the race, I just want you all to know, that my heart goes out to every one of you who are in someway affected from this terrible disease. Although I may be tired, I know this is nothing, I mean nothing compared to the fight these brave souls and so many others have to endure . It is my life’s mission, not to beat the time on the clock, but beat pancreatic cancer and that is my only competitor out there tomorrow, and we intend to win. With love and deep gratitude. Dino, Steve and Helen, this one is for you. We got this. xoxo

Julie,
You are truly an awesome and amazing woman. I can’t tell you how much this means to me and the smile, energy and all around joy you have just given me. Too many times in our lives we use the words “Friend” or “Love” incorrectly or with assumptions.
I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate everything you have just done, continue to do and I Love You and your dedication to this cause; and for your support while I am fighting this ugly situation.
Thank you again for everything and I am thinking of you and your dedication as we go foward.
Sincerely Yours and with heartfelt LOVE,
Steve Hanzlik

Steve,
Thank you so much for your kind note, it just inspired me to write this blog for you. I wanted to write it last night but I ran out of time. I think it’s better that I wrote it after I ran for you. Steve, I send you all the healing energy in the world. You are in my thoughts and prayers, thank you so much for the love. I really felt it out there today. https://marathongoddess.com/2013/02/team-hanzlik/?v=11 The blog is called Team Hanzlik if that link doesnt work. All my best wishes to you for a speedy, inspired recovery xo-Julie
Thank you so much for running for my Mom and for all of the others you have run for. Your dedication and support to help find a cure for the disease that took my Mom at such an early age is an inspiration. You have already given so much but don’t give up the fight. We can defeat this someday. My Mom would be honored by your run. Thank you from all of my heart.
