Maurice was a child prodigy on the drums at the age of five and was a regular on the NBC Radio show “Coast to Coast on the Bus” with Milton Cross. He was a life member of the Musicians Union as well as a member of SAG. He was an accomplished pianist, trumpet player and drummer as well as a band leader. He spent 30 years as a stock broker and started his third career as an actor six years ago. He appeared in several commercials and movies. He had studied with Ken Lerner, Howard Fine and Jeremiah Comey.

Maurice Weiss, my father and my number one fan. He lived life to the fullest with no regrets. He did things his way and It doesn’t get much better than that! Everything he did, he did it big (he was a big guy) and I will follow his lead. Thank you for everything. This 52 is for YOU, and we are going BIG.
